Mace Special No 9

This reel is an early model of the Mace Special No 9 centrepin. It has the old style backing plate with the foot bracket frenched into slotted back plate and a nice feature are the tooling rings and grooved finish. The spool set-up is also my old design flat topped spindle arrangement.

The reel is in a very clean used condition except for a light gravel rash to the bottom of the line guard and back plate, I have smooth them out a little but they still show. I’ve given the reel a full service and it will make a very good user.
